Exhausted! Been working so much on my thesis the last couple of weeks and today I just feel like I've hit a wall. Currently trying to just relax, though I'm not really succeeding at it... But since it is way too warm (30°C) outside, I've made a smoothie and hopefully that will help a little at least!

This reminds me of a part in the book I am reading where Patti Smith is lamenting to another poet that she's hit a wall. I can't remember who it was, but he told her, "When you hit a wall, break through it." She said she never had writer's block again. Seems a little unbelievable...

I'm sorry to hear this. Please try to take advantage of anything that might help cheer you up, whether it's talking to a friend (lots of us right here!), watching something funny, or even going back to bed for a bit. Just even accepting that's how you feel and not telling yourself it's "wrong" to feel that way can help.

Almost as soon as I submitted this post, I was able to figure out why I’m so down. I just remembered that yesterday was Father’s Day. I lost my dad almost two years ago so I guess I’m feeling so down trodden it’ll be okay though
