I think Close To Me really. The whole concept is of claustrophobia & something just doesn't sit right when it's played to thousands of people in a huge venue.

But I do like when Robert goes near the audience during this song. I think it creates a fun atmosphere.
Just listened to it... LOST. The energy, the power, the loud voice in the album is way better than any live performance. Robert just doesn't get there, makes it sound flat.
uptempo songs like primary and disintegration sound sluggish unless played at a decent tempo. you can't beat that entreat disintegration, full of energy
Charlotte sometimes, it still a cool song when it`s performed live but not at all like the album version. Another one i found a little bit disappointing when i hear it live was Signal to Noise.
Sadly, I think, Charlotte Sometimes falls into that category. I adore the studio version but, live versions usually let me down, they always seem in a hurry to finish it!! I'd prefer a slow bass dominant version.
The 84, 85 or 89 versions were superb. So it was the Zillo version in 2002. Imho Charlotte Sometimes needs to be played fast and certainly needs strong drumming. Jason always seem to fail at this particular point.
