So finally that psycho Verger has got his comeuppance . & that a$$hole Cordell. He deserved to have is face sliced off. He really shouldn't have gone into so much detail about how he was going to cook Hannibal eh? I did like the look on Verger's face when Alana asked if he knew what happened when a prostrate gland is stimulated with a cattle prod. He did not see that coming! Curious ending though, but I suppose Will now houses Hannibal's mind palace & all those dark thoughts. Oh, & his head heeled up quickly didn't it?
Yep. I spent an hour frantically hunting for my old copy of the book after I watched the episode & I can't find it. Really fancy reading it all over again.
Now we're really into Red Dragon. That Thorin Oakenshield bloke gets everywhere doesn't he?
i still haven`t the Hobbit... i am waiting for the extended trilogy... but .... it was a great episode... the fact that Crawford convinced Molly instead Will... i think it is a good change... she do not know how it is.... it is more easy to convince her than Will... But will really wants to do it... and the end of the episode simply magnificent
So it has gone deep into Red Dragon now. I really like Rutina Wesley as Reba. Must be really hard to do that for an able sighted actress. The Bedelia arc is getting even darker & I am finding her slightly more terrifying than Hannibal. But I am going to have a rant here. The tiger scene in the original film (& even in the book) is one of my favourite scenes in a movie ever. It explodes with so many emotions & always leaves me trembling. Now, forgive me if I'm wrong, & I appreciate that using a real animal can be dangerous, but seriously NBC. WTF? Was that a big soft toy you used? It was the most unrealistic tiger I have seen since that cartoon thing that did the Frosties ads. It looked like a cheap car seat cover & that whole scene was destroyed as soon as they zoomed in on Reba listening to the tiger's heartbeat & stroking it. In an otherwise visually awesome series, that was simply appalling
