Hey,
I see 2 of the 3 legendary London shows of 1989 have been shared here...
I know of a fantastic version of the show not shared here, and am hoping someone can please help me find it!, it's the best quality version of all 2 London 1989 shows!, even better quality than the 1st and 3rd show! Considering the Wembley shows are so legendary I'm surprised this fantastic sounding version hasn't been widely circulated on the music sharing websites?
I have attached an MP3 sample from the second show on 23rd July 1989, does anybody know which version it is? (the voices speaking/yelling in the crowd before the MP3 sample below are pretty distinct and would be easy to check/compare with other recordings).
It's a fantastic sounding version, one of the best of The Prayer Tour, unfortunetly I have a bit of a dodgy file set, Plainsong finishes then the ending of a different Plainsong ends before Pictures Of You starts, the whole of Just Like Heaven is from a completely different show!, and in the MP3 sample I have attached which starts off brilliant sounding at about 3min:20secs of Fascination Street it changes to a recording of a different show until the end of the song...
Apart from those few problems this is a fantastic quality recording of one of their best shows, does anybody know someone who has the full file set without the odd problems?, or maybe someone at least knows which version it is?
If someone can share I'd be happy to also share some stuff...
Here's the MP3 sample of the version I'm looking for! (of course before it cuts to crappy quality at 3min:20secs).
i have the show with very great sound but only as flac. it's better as mp.3.
your name...like ice into my heart...a shllow grave...a monument to the ruined age...ice in my eyes...and eyes like ice don't move...screaming at the moon...as cold as silence...and you never will say a word...this is my name...and a strange day...ever and ever and ever again......

Hello Cold39, Did you listen to my sample I put the link to in my request post?, is the link you give to the same version I am requesting to find? Sorry I can't check yet but because your version misses Pictures Of You and Closedown I think it is not the same version I put the sample of Fascination Street from?

No it's a different version which misses Plainsong, & Pictures Of you & begins with a disastrously choppy Closedown
right, is wrong in the text file, sorry....

i have a full show MP3 fileset and an incomplete hacked-Closedown version..
no full lossless version.. the mp3 version sounds much better than the flac but different to the one posted
The flac i have has a voice saying "prayers for rain" at the beginning of Fascination Street. the mp3 version has people yelling "forest" before FStreet... sorry..
Feel free to share what you have of this version though, that sample sounds awesome!
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

Hi, I got the sample from c*r*f*r*l*, so you could download it there if you really don't care about unknown generation and Just Like Heaven and last 2 minutes of Fascination Street add in from a completely different show.... Yehah or you could join me in hoping to find a proper complete set. Kind of weird, this is kind of a mystery recording for something that sounds so good from such a legendary show, how did it pop up at c*r*f*r*l*?!... Would be good if you could share your version if you say it's better than the version that starts at Closedown?
Cure-concerts.de lists only 2 known versions for this show which seems pretty low, I would've thought it was a pretty sought after show by the collectors, there's definitely more than just 2 recordings circulating....

According to cure-concerts.de, Malcolm Beaton recorded this show, and knowing the quality of his recordings, it would be great to get this one if it is circulating !

I think I have MB from the 23rd already, and unfortunately it isn't as good as the recording I have requested here, which is why I have requested it, because it seems to be the best version of this show ! Let's hope something nice turns up anyway...
