London 23rd July 1989 (sample attached with fantastic sound)

I didn't say it's not good!, just that the one I included a sample of (which I'm requesting to find) is better (than what I 'think' is the MB version I have, though I got it about 15 years ago so not totally sure it's MB).
I think I have MB from this night and it's a little too bassy to the point of being clipped and distorted the whole show... , but who knows maybe the transfer volume was too high or something like that and he has a nice master, though one wonders if it's so good why isn't it commonly known?!, don't just presume an MB recording is the best there is of a particular show, it's not always the case...
Edit- PS - take the 3rd Wembley night for example, most people would think the DJ recording is overall better than MB's....

I compared JLHeaven and Fascination Street to other versions I have of the 23rd. After Just Like Heaven Robert introduces Last Dance when in fact they played Catch..., and the last 1min50secs of Fascination Street changes quality (sounds like the same recording as JLH) and has some different drumming on the snare, so those 2 patches are definitely from a different show....
c*r*f*r*l* lists it as MPEG meaning he received it as lossy ( shows listed as CDDA are apparently lossless), so yes it's MP3 sourced, however it's the best sounding version I have heard, which is why I'm so interested to find a more definitive copy....
PS Wouldn't be the first time songs have been add from wrong shows, for example at c*r*f*r*l* in Barcelona 1989 In Between Days is add from a different show, don't know why because the correct song is widely available from that exact same recording/ version. I also gave up on trying to find Hamburg 89 Plainsong because so far they have all been from the wrong show......

i have my old tapes found. the sound is bad, but I think it's a different version of the show. I have F. Street compared with my tape and a distinguished the background noise are different.

I would say -2 ... lol ... the droning tape and it is very slow...not working right, i think. not the best one.

I actually managed to acquire the version that powellperalta is on about without the patches thanks to a good friend down under.
It's only a 192kbps mp3 though, but sounds just great.
Hunting for a lossless one now.
