South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly Lines) and High Street Kensington (District and Circle Lines) are the closest Underground stations to the Hall. Walking to the Hall takes approximately 10 minutes from both stations.

Last time I took the Gatwick Express but in order to catch the Friday show I changed my flight to arrive about 5.45 pm at LUTON Airport.
Anyone experienced with connections to and from Luton?
I don't get their website yet, as far as I understand, there's a shuttle bus to Luton station and then switch to a train to (wherever in?) London.. but it could also be there's a train station right at the airport?

Millhaus, there are 2 stations in Luton. One for the town itself, and one which directly serves the airport. This is the one you want, and it's called 'Luton Airport Parkway'. There are at least 4 trains per hour from there to London. No need to worry about the bus
Which airport is it best to fly to? which will make it cheapest and fasted to get to london (near the Royal Albert Hall) ?
'Cheap' and 'fast' don't really go together! There is an express train from Heathrow which gets you to Paddington Station - quite near the RAH but you would need to then get the tube - in 15 minutes, but it costs £26! If you get the tube from Heathrow all the way it's a lot cheaper, but it's a long and painful journey. The Gatwick Express takes longer - half an hour - and goes to Victoria, which is also near the RAH and is then about 2 stops on the tube. That's about £15 I think.
Luton is quite a long way out and I don't know anything about Stansted, I've never used that airport.
to be honest, all the airports have good trains into London, it just a case of which part of London they finish at but wherever you end up, there are Tube trains to get you to RAH. Heathrow is the logical choice but don't feel that you will be stuck if you chose the other airports.
Stanstead would take you to Liverpool Street which is then 13 stops on the Tube to RAH. Heathrow is about 14 stops on the Tube. Luton takes you to St. Panscras / Kings X
My flight lands at the London City Airport (LCY). Can anybody tell me if the one-day-travelcard is also valid for the light rail (DLR)?
Absolutely, you will see DLR on the tube map. Go to Tower Hill and you will be on the Circle line (yellow) for South Kensington
Thx for your quick response. At first i thought going to the Bank station would be a good idea but Tower Hill should be much easier. I'll take the green line because i'll have to check in at the hotel near Earl´s Court before the show.
