Flying into Gatwick from Dublin, train to Victoria, tube to Earl's Court where I'll be staying. I think I'm close enough to walking distance from there. Flying home at 13:00 the next day... Phew!

The world is neither fair nor unfair - It's just us trying to feel that there's some sense in it

Earl's Court is a district in Kensington... Quite close to the RAH and lots of reasonably priced hotels around there!

Earls Court to the Albert Hall is not walking distance when you're drunk.
Premier Inn, Kensington will cost you approx £80 a night. Hmmm this hotel has now sold out for March 29th.
If you just want a bed, Norfolk Square is opposite Paddington Station and is full of cheapish Bed and Breakfast/Hotels.

Ok, so I probably won't walk home... , but sober, it's about 20 mins?? (more worried about getting to the gig than home from it, tbh!)
Thanks for the info re Norfolk Sqare. I've provisionally booked a place on Penywern Road, so I guess I'll go with that.
