New HPs shipping with Windows 7...

I'm not surprised at all tbh. I'd be even less surprised if they rolled it back completely to XP

I'll never willingly use Windows, hated it since they moved on from XP. I'm a Mac person, have been for years, won't ever look back tbh

The corporate world, mostly, still is a Windows workplace. I HAD to have Windows 7 and had to uninstall Word 2013 and buy Word 2010 for my new job...I guess it's just too expensive to overhaul it and if you are on a platform that hasn't been updated in ages..then you are stuck. That being said, I had a Surface with 8 on it and it was fine..did the job, but some applications, like your son's Maz, needed to be launched from the desktop while others could be launched from the tiles. Either or. And some worked both ways. Not very integrated. Now..I have a new iPad Air... My first Mac product and I must say I am in love! My desktop and laptops are all PC...never had issues whatsoever and the price was perfect. But this thing..man.. It is just intuitive. Anyway, I am not surprised about Windows 7 making a comeback...

That's just it, PCs are cheaper...

Still has people that use Windows 98 here on Brazil, sincerely I don't know what they can do with his work. I think they are blind walking by the darkness!
