There was a site something like Goths on holiday ?? It was funny ... Bit spot the goth .. I'm still getting ribbed for fishnet tights sun burn lattice legs
Incidentally, I'm probably more cool than good looking. And more outgoing than strong and silent. Furthermore, I'm probably shallower than a paddling pool. Some goth I turned out to be, right?
I started well and then tailed off towards the end - scored 60% - the shame! But worth it just for the pic on question 9 - never seen that one before - but it won't let me 'right click save' - GAH!
Don't talk of worlds that never were
The end is all that's ever true
Colleague: "So you are a goth then, right?" Me: "Well ummmm yeahhh I suppose you could say that, yes" Colleague: "Do you worship Satan?" Me: "Oh FFS no, that's not how it works you kn0b!" Colleague: "Do you worship The Cure?" Me: "HAHA yes you've got me bang to rights there"
Sometimes I'm tempted to say something like " don't be daft in a trainee Jedi knight actually " ...

Goth at the BBC, BBC Four BBC Four airs a compilation of performances from the BBC to explore the ‘Goth’ style of British rock and pop in the 80s. This was a period of music in which dry ice, doomy lyrics and dyed black hair tortured skywards were only some of the constituent parts of this very British ‘tribe’ that flourished alongside Stock, Aitken and Waterman. BBC Four delves into the archives uncovering classic performances from Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, The Mission and many more.

Cool! I hope they actually choose some decent footage, not just bands miming and looking slightly embarrassed on Top of The Pops
Me too. It states "classic performances" though. Which suggests they will be ones we've all seen before. But if they do a HD broadcast, it could prove an upgrade to all the current recordings floating around. Also hope they have some interviews & such like.
The more I think about it, the more I reckon it will be Dear Prudence, Lovecats, etc etc ... good stuff but nothing I haven't seen a million times before. Still, I might actually invest in the Tivo software to get this one off the box and onto my hard drive If they show Bauhaus doing She's in Parties on TOTP I will be very happy
