Will see them tonight in at Stade de Suisse in Bern, Switzerland. Huge stadium
Second time for me to see them live, after seeing them in 1993 in Nürnberg, Germany, which was really cool then. I'm quite curious if I will know at least 50 percent of the songs they play tonight.... as I stopped listening to their new stuff after Exciter, which didn't excite me at all, very dissapointing. I hope Mr. Gore can hold himself a little back and not punish me with tons of his ballads ;-)
Unfortunately, it will be just like that, S. At least I presume it. A lot of Martin and new stuff. Still, we will be there. My first DM gig. So, CU around stadium :-)

I MIGHT (If my friend or sister can´t come) have an extra ticket to the depeche mode concert in copenhagen 12th of june. it´s to the golden circle and some kind of afterparty. It cost 134 euro. I know it is expensive, but that is what I bought it for. I don´t think I will have a problem selling it here in DK, but thought I would give you a chance first
The world is neither fair nor unfair - It's just us trying to feel that there's some sense in it
And you had even great opening act over there, don't you? Still, I must confess that your countrymen have also been on fire at gig in Bern. They even performed some "cover" of Lullaby!? :-) Right after that I was together with Millhaus. And, of corse, he had Disintegration-T-Shirt on. I presume DM closed it with Never Let Me Down in Copenhagen also... Pure brilliance! :-)

For the 101st show of the Music For The Masses Tour, the band played a special stadium show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Coinciding with the 10th anniversary of KROQ FM (a long time supporter of the band), the all-day concert featured Wire, Thomas Dolby and O.M.D. as the opening acts.
The Depeche Mode portion of this legendary show was recorded, both audio (the "101" album) and video (the D.A. Pennebaker directed "101" documentary film).
Pulled from some very rare audio and video sources, we present a small look back at the day of June 18th, 1988.
"Good evening, Pasadena!"
Thanks to our friends at the DM TV Archives for letting us use some of their clips.
