Well, I will go from the start. Their first album always was ridiculous IMO. There you are completely right with the statement about two notes on keyboard and words in the rhyme. Like:

Trentemøller is Danish. not a fan though. but it seems a bit strange if Douglas J Mccarthy is the opening act in Denmark, if Trentemøller is supposed to be the opening act in other countries.......

It's just commitment that Douglas had earlier, so that he is unable to be there a little more IMO. For example, on June 7, when they have gig in Bern, he is scheduled for Berlin (

). Really don't know about Trentemøller.

Real show started from Black Celebration IMO (although some my very-teenage stories are strongly connected with Some Great Reward), and my DM-time was simply 1985-1993. I was earlier into DM than into The Cure. Since Violator there is definitely decline, although I was more than ready to accept some changes on SOFAD in 1993. Still, found some nice things on Ultra and on Exciter, and little bit of nostalgia on PTA, and that was it.
