wow. I don't know what I just listened to. I have a few friends that have asked me if I'm going to see them on this tour and that is a resounding no. I'll tell ya, if I could outfit a delorean with a flux capacitor one of the first things I would do is to go convince martin and dave to give alan anything he wants to stay in DM
I would never buy a DM concert ticket without seeing a sampling of their setlists on that given tour first.
By that time they'll have sold out. However, if this album goes down like a lead balloon & is as bad as the last 5, there could be a few tickets going back on the market.
Say what you want about them, at least they keep their word. Their new album will be released this month as promised. That's 4 depeche albums since 4:13 dream.
Ok their gig ticket prices are ridiculous though....the grabbing hands grab all they can, everything counts in large amounts.

If anyone's interested, the new Depeche Mode album is, to put it mildly, not particularly good. There are occasional glimpses of classic DM, but they're all too brief & the songs soon get to be aimless, plodding dirges. Wagging Tongue (track 2) is the closest it gets to being borderline interesting. Other than that, it's a bit of a dog's egg really

To be honest that 4DM albums to me are the same.... dull and boring... so i preffer more Cure tours that a disapointing album

I thought it had some interesting sounds, but it's not an album I'm ever likely to listen to again.

Based on last night's tour opener, Depeche Mode is definitely thinking of their fans with this setlist... You can arrive late, there is a built-in bathroom/beverage break, and they finish pretty strong. 😜
