Wish will turn 25 years old this year. A fantastic album including 3 great singles, 6 superb B-sides and the 4 Lost Wishes tracks, that's 22 songs that we know of, and who knows if anything else can be added? Also Wish was followed closely by the live albums Show & Paris. A very productive time & a particularly great bass tone from Simon that era.
How long must we wait for the deluxe remaster ?
I honestly don't know how it can be mastered any better than it already is. I think they should leave well alone there

It certainly doesn't need to be "louderized" like most of today's remasters, the original CD does sound fantastic and the original EU vinyl is also good...but I wouldn't say no to a new all analogue (presuming the album was recorded to tape) vinyl cut by someone like Bernie Grundman or Kevin Gray and pressed at RTI...and I wouldn't say no to a new 5.1 mix on Blu-ray from the original multitracks by someone like Steven Wilson.
At the time of JTD some complained the 'lost wishes' tracks were not included on it and Robert explained it was mostly a b-sides box and somehow they may appear on another release, I assume there well could be thus a Wish deluxe release, especially as it was their best selling record. Still it may be not this year.
can anybody give me an actual status, if and when this Set will be release in 2019?
Best regards
Norman
Robert has said it's finished but only he knows when it'll be unleashed. Probably this year's record store day offering in which case wait until the summer when it'll likely be out on a format that isn't from the 19th century
