No news in ages on those two releases, which is truly a pitty.
I realy shiver in the idea of a similar bbc box set like the one Siouxsie and the banshees released a few years ago and which was absolute brilliant.
As for the wish deluxe there is so much material to be included on the bonus disc, especially if they add the ulitmate version of "a forest" from the "show" video. I never understood WHY it was left out in the first place.
Not sure dave. I suppose they have been busy arranging the tour(s) and putting other things together. I was really hoping this would have seen the light of day in 2012 & we are still waiting.
Never mind the Latin America tour, COME TO ENGLAND! I know they seem to have a larger following elsewhere in the world but surely there are more than enough fans in the UK to make a small tour worthwhile? Wouldn't even have to be arenas, could be mid-sized venues. Please come to England !
I'm sure there is a demo of it somewhere. I do know that David Allen, at one point, did mix the album himself. I've heard a few songs he mixed......no major differences, however, they did sound a bit more clearer than what was finally released.
Many years ago Robert once said, in an interview, that Disintegration was going to be the last 'Deluxe' edition, so I wouldn't hold your breath kids.
It's possible I suppose, when his funds get a bit low, he may change his mind and as we all know he is an inveterate self-confessed liar so take all he says with a pinch of salt!
What I would rather see (or indeed hear) is a dvd/BluRay release of 'In Orange' and 'Play Out' or even 'Show'.
