I just uploaded to my You Tube account a couple of full HD videos (A Forest and Play For Today) from the Bogotá gig and soon after they were processed I saw a "Matched third-party content" link to a page prompting me to acknowledge or dispute that the songs are owned by a third party (administered by: UMPG Publishing.)
Now I'm wondering If I should just ignore the buttons or click on "Acknowledge". Any clues?

I had the best laid plans this side of America...
...and now I dig it in the dirt and I’m down here for a while.
Be careful. You Tube gave me a demerit when I uploaded the Carhaix concert last year! They busted me down to only being able to upload 16 minutes worth of video at a time. And gave me a warning. You get three.

Was your video removed?
I was wondering. When I search for "The Cure Live" in You Tube I get about 55,200,000 results, mostly user-made videos like mine, and I guess UMPG would first need to target any particular video for copyright, so I thought I would rather ignore the buttons than acknowledging or disputing copyright. Since in "Matched third-party content" link also says that the videos are available and playable, I know the account hasn't been penalised yet.
Oddly enough, I guess all the videos I have uploaded to my channel so far could be targeted, but I only got the warning after I uploaded the Bogotá's gig videos...
I think YT are continually modifying their policies & UMG is one bunch who are pressing them to do it. I don't see any reason why your videos would violate any copyright agreements & think YT are probably covering themselves by posting a warning message.
BTW, I moved the thread to the tech section, as it seemed to fit better there. Could serve as a useful resource for anyone uploading stuff to YouTube.

Yes! Maurstar they did remove it. For "Copyright infringement" I think you should be okay though. I looked at your page and those are fan made right? Mine was from the Carhaix webcast so I think that was a big part of the issue as well (even though I see others with the same concert uploaded) So I think you should be okay.
It's not related but I am having Youtube/FB related issues I can't get to the bottom of. Have emailed both YT n FB but had no reply.I can't seem to share videos to my FB account anymore. The YT share button has never worked. I used to cut n paste the URL to my status update and it would show on my profile pages as a little tv box with a pic and short description. Now if I do that I only get a URL showing.
