The Thief is back. Time for Garrett to wipe the floor with Assassin's Creed! This was so legendary in 1999! And this re-boot is my fav event of the year!

This is part 1 in a series "exploring the roles and representations of women in video games", figured it was about time to post it here. I love what this woman is doing. Even though you may not agree with everything she says, her project is immensely important and clearly sorely needed (there is still an ongoing and by now notorious hate campaign of nutty proportions going on against her, which started before she had even made a single video. Just the audacity of wanting to examine female characters in video games pissed a lot of schmucks off!). In part 1 and 2 she talks about the very prevalent "damsel in distress" character, but in part 3 she will take a look at games that attempt to subvert this stereotype. Can't wait!
To this day I claim that Lucas Arts adventures, like Grim Fandango, are the best invented games ever!
nope. definitely planescape torment:) is anybody else looking forward to play might and magic X?
I played Planescape Torment but there was no fire for me there. Although my love for Heroes of M&M still burns, I never was into M&M-series. Basically, I am not fan of RPG-s.

HoMM 3 still best for me, regarding the Turn-Based-Strategy-Genre.
