I read this last week & also followed the #gigbugbears tag on twitter for a bit & thought it pretty interesting for a poll/ discussion.

There is a bit about an application called 45sound which does actually sound pretty amazing & it seems Sony Music are trying it out.
There are some bands that really don't care & some (The Yeah Yeah Yeah's) that seem to get really miffed by it.
But considering "we" are the audience, it's "us" who often find ourselves peering over a sea of iPhones, Galaxies, Blackberries, Sonys & Nokias etc, as gig goers attempt to capture memories to whack onto Youchoob as soon as they get home.
Being fairly tall (5'11") it's not too much of a bother for me. I'm rather indifferent to the whole thing, but what do you think really?
