A lot of folks write Led Zep off too quickly as being a "heavy metal" act, whereas they are actually far from it.
A rock act for sure & one that has influenced lots of bands we all listen to today.
Anyone that hasn't given them a serious listen, & I don't mean Stairway To Heaven, do so.
They are a life changing band really.

Absolutely! Anyone who says they are heavy metal has not heard Bron Y Aur, Since I've Been Loving You, Battle of Evermore or The Crunge four completely different songs. Check out these kids doing The Crunge. Needs polishing but not bad for what looks like 18 year olds. And the spirit is totally there. They know this song.

I could see Simon playing this bass part. Totally. He would nail it. One of my favorite bass parts ever!
