Oh, the other thing to be aware of is the planned Tube strike on November 1st. The last few have been called off but worth keeping an eye on. The Overground will still run to Whitechapel, not sure about the DLR to Limehouse but it is walkable.

The 15 Bus or N550 Night Bus goes from Charing Cross/Trafalgar Square to Limehouse Station and Westferry Station, perfect for Troxy. There's a decent pub nearby, The Grapes, for you history buffs - Charles Dickens drank there.
Stansted is the worst London airport, not that it matters really, mainly finding somewhere to sit when leaving. At least the Express takes you straight to Liverpool St and not that far from Limehouse. Citymapper is good, Google Maps does just as well, I sometimes use both here. I mentioned elsewhere that the Troxy is a gorgeous venue but trying to see in the standing section is impossible unless you get down to the lower ground floor bit immediately in front of the stage. We managed to get downstairs to it for Siouxsie, but only just. Was a nightmare getting to the toilet/bar and back. I imagine that this will be worse.
I usually avoid Stansted but cheap flights so all good. In relation to the venue, I’m 6ft3in so hopefully will be ok, although do plan on getting into the queue a couple of hours before the show but imagine nearly everyone will have that plan!
