I'm jealous of all the ones who got tickets. I understand the band enjoy the idea of a lauching gig in a small venue in London, that's great. Would have been perfectly happy if i had been one of the happy few. I had spent a lot of money in buying all the forthcoming release, many other things to do, that's how it goes... Better luck next time.
figie , I don't mind not going, it's not even having the opportunity to buy a ticket that annoys me. I understand why they did it and I do agree something has to be done to stop the touts but, for me, it didn't work. But ... we still have the Bunnymen at Butlin's Minehead to look forward to.
If you mean the Shine festival at Minehead, be warned, I will be there too! If someone taps you on the shoulder, it will likely be me
As you're 8ft tall you'll have to stoop pretty low!! I now live in Somerset, Minehead is just up the road.
I hear you. I'm also unable to travel and attend shows due to mental health
It was a bit of a difficult decision to choose to go since I struggle with the same. It helps to have my husband's blessing, that I have been there before, and that I'm getting good treatment. I couldn't possibly feel more anxious on this trip than I already do a lot of time on the subway, here, so there's that, too. Let's just say, "I know what you mean."

You're not missing out, that's important. And the more tcc people there, the better party here
One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain So hit me with music, hit me with music

Is there infos out there yet what time the show will be on? I assume it'll be starting at somewhere between 7PM and 10PM.. I need to plan my social engagements around this stream, Bobdammit!
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

Doors are at 6pm local with an end time of 11pm. I somehow can't imagine them playing a four hour set from 7-11 though.

If anyone wants to be a little more familiar with the venue (I find it reassuring), here is a virtual tour of the Troxy: my.matterport.com/show/?m=8oaoCFf1UR3
If you want to book the Troxy for your wedding, divorce party, or funeral, here is a really outdated promotional video. FWIW, the stained glass features are beautiful.

Do you think I could arrange a midday wedding on the 1st November and just hide in the toilets until 7pm?
