The weekend got underway with a nail biter at St James’ where Sawzall UTD came from 1-3 down to win 4-3 against the footballing genuis’ Wet Spam thanks to two very dodgy penalty calls & supersub Harvey Barnes. Palace managed to give their traditional late goal away half an hour earlier than usual & Son managed to unspursy a spursy performance to win against Luton. But most eyes were on the Sunday games & with Liverpool beating the south coast scum along with Arsenal & FFP FC playing out a true yawnfest, the reds now have the advantage in the table sitting 2 points above the Gunners.
The scores in the FPL were a lot more respectable this week with a full roster & it was the BB&S with 634 points who took the honours. The goes to none other than Dead Men Walking while the
is all Trevor Francis 8’s for the week. The table
It was a draw between the IGM & BB&S in the H2H with 18 points each & yep, you guessed it, the
stays with Dead Men Walking. &, with a 12 point overall lead, don’t expect it to go anywhere else very soon. The table
With spring now firmly upon us, it’s time to tiday the shed. We also tested the BBQ ahead of this GW………so we’ll be going shopping for a new BBQ this coming weekend. But never mind all that. Buckle up for the first of two quick turnarounds & fingers crossed for maximum point hauls
There's a website tha creates a newsletter/ report about each league. You just need to plug the league number in & it auto-generates. This is the report on the Dodgy Darklings for this GW
So we have another swift turnaround to contend with. Last GW it was interesting to see Haaland rested ahead of this weekend's crunch match with Palace who managed yet again to concede their customary goal, going down to Bournemouth. Forest, with 4 points docked, hauled themselves out of the drop zone with a 3-1 against Fulham while the top of the table changed hands twice with Arsenal winning & then Liverpool scraping past Sheffield UTD. & let's not forget to point & laugh at ManUre who managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory allowing Cole Palmer to score 2 injury time goals to turn the match around & win 4-3.
In the FPL though we saw the BB&S take the spoils with 697 points. Dead Men Walking unsurprisingly hold onto the Yellow Jersey & the Big Shout Out got split 2 ways with Bl00dySister & figie's high town F.C. both on 85 points. The H2H was a little closer with the EIB snagging an 18 point win. & the Crown remains, as predicted, with Dead Men Walking.
Spring is seeing the shed garden flourish so if you have hay fever, you might want to take precautions next weekend. In the meantime it's over to emilystrange for GW32.
