My drive to work has now become 30-45 minutes, which gives me a perfect time slot to broaden my musical horizons.

I'm hoping to compile a long long list that will keep my journeys fresh for months, and ultimately open my ears to new music.

It's too easy to keep listening to exactly the same playlists.

There's only one rule; don't include Cure albums (including compilations

).

Please leave below your favourite albums, old or new, famous or small bands, that you would recommend.

The Fauns just realised an album after a 10 year hiatus; I've been listening to their small catalogue for years and they haven't disappointed with their return. Perfect driving music, too.

So far only a single but it's rather good. Best thing from PJ that I've heard in a long time. I managed to get tickets for the second Seattle show. They were rather expensive this tour. The band has adopted the Cure's ticket approach but more expensive. I'm sitting basically in the same area as I sat for the Cure & the tickets were $100 more. they usually put on a good show though. Looking forward to it.
