My husband and I had debated going to this show. When we didn’t he bought the recording for me for Christmas or my birthday or something. I put it on once. I don’t think I even made it through the whole thing. I have absolutely no idea what ever happened to it. Hopefully I’ll never find it buried in a box somewhere b/c I think it could either cause PTSD or a call to a divorce lawyer.
I don't remember it sounding that bad. I've cued up the CD for a replay at some stage this week when I've managed to decide on my 2023 lists
it doesn´t... come on 4 piece the cure from 2005 to 2009 and nobody complaints??? 4 piece the cure in Bestival... they only change a guitar for a keyboard... so... BTW Close to me... it is my favorite version... A forest sounds great... and a lot more sounds very good...

For me it's like this:
1979-1994 - golden era. I love pretty much anything they did in that era. Peaks are the trilogy 17 Seconds-Faith-Pornography and the triad KMKMKM/Disintegration/Wish.
1995-2000 - so-so era.
2004-2011 - their worst period
2012-now - signs of resurgence, but still no new album!

I constantly moan about 4Cure! I’m doing so now in my head hahahha!
To me, it sounded in tracks like Open, we’re “missing something”… like they’re “a bit empty”..
I’ll revisit in the coming days and revert with my update the report that you’re all champing at the bit to read

If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!
I do feel bad talking smack about TC but the reality is that every performer or group of performers has an off time. It’s natural. It could be for a reason (technical issue that throws you, one member having something going on, a mood, illness or injury, etc, etc), or no reason at all. You shake it off, maybe try to figure out wha it was about, and move on hoping for better next time and not a streak. At least IME.
Since it was a festival hopefully everyone was already drunk and didn’t notice. 😁
