what a great time, once again : really love that lat am tour : lots of fun onstage and incredible crowd. God Bless the Cure, God bless you all and See you again
So sorry I had to work and missed this. The boys keep swinging and looks like fun was had by them, per this gif.
So they shuck Hot Hot Hot!!! into the encore. Nice addition. Well done all of you who managed to stay up/ access the stream & join in. & thank you The Cure once again. I think you deserve a couple of days off before the next one
"This week I was supposed to get on a plane with the lads to Mexico but sadly due to a serious health issue Im forced to stay in London for the next few months for treatment. Im going to be fine, I have the best Dr who is a rock star, carers, friends and family around me."

Thanks Steve. So bad. Didn’t knew it. I thought it was just a flu or something like that. Hope for a speedy recovery.
If you watch the stream of the concert you can see those guys being projected on the big audience screens during the concert. Don´t know if it was just to animate the crowd or if it was also sign language translating the lyrics (got the impression sometimes but did not really look closely because I was focussing on the band). This guy in the litte video though is just dancing and does not translate even when Robert starts singing.
Hey all. Sorry for the late report. I was there, it was fabulous! Robert seemed very enthusiastic all through the set. He even came back joking with Reeves (I think) for the first encore, and then said something along the line of "this is totally not the right mood" before going into It Can Never Be The Same.
The climate was Very Hot. Not as bad as the previous day, but still. We've been having a heatwave in Brazil for the past weeks. A while ago a fan died on a Taylor Swift concert because of the heat, so the politicians passed a law that enforced venues to give out water and have accessible water stations. This worked very well (IMO) on the festival. There were people handing out water bottles and cups all over the festival, and in the pit in front of the stage.
The guys being projected were realtie translation into sign language, but their performance was spotty at times. I'm not sure if they were given the lyrics in advance, or were following them with a teleprompter or something, but at times they didn't seem to be understanding it.
The band's guitar tech posted on ig saying "Possibly the worst organised festival I've ever been to but made up for by an amazing crowd.", so something happened behind the curtains. From our perspective everything seemed fine, there were no issues with the sound, all gigs were on time... we did notice that the band had no interactions with anyone outside of the show. Some people tried to greet them at the airport but had no luck, neither on arrival, nor on departure, unlike every other LatAm show (I think).
Anyway, it was a wonderful concert, better than the ones from 2013 IMO, and I'm happy I got to see them again, and close to the front.
Some pics I took:
