Seems Robert Smith is up to good again, this time sharing his thoughts on singing to benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. He is one of many iconic singers featured in The Singers Talk (written by Jason Thomas Gordon, published by Permuted Press). "100% of the writer's royalties" (I guess this refer's to Gordon's royalties, given the possessive form????) will benefit St. Jude's.
Check out this list of singers from the book's web site:
For a while I've had lots of things I'm curious about re: how Robert finds singing, if dairy is really bad for your voice, when the pact he signed with satan to keep his voice so good expires, etc. etc. This is sure to be interesting.

Just ordered it from my local book shop. Seems all their distributors are OOS, so it's backordered, which is excellent news for St. Jude's! I'm really looking forward to reading what RS has to say 'bout singing!
I picked up my copy today on the way home from work! Man, the 10 pages of what RS has to say about singing were even better than I could have imagined!
Thanks to Robert for sharing your thoughts on what singing is like for you. Many of my questions were answered. Throat Coat tea is Disgusting (the licorice root gives it this sickly sweet note). Five a day? Come on, that’s so 1998. Ten is the new five.
