It’s a continuation of what I’ve been doing for the past few months - working and stressing!
The weekend is here, so I hope your stress levels can go down! Good to see you.
Thank you kirstie. I haven’t been around due to my mental state. I haven’t been in a good place for a while, complete with heart palpitations. Seems like a live to work these days.

I'm so sorry to hear that, @danielle; it's not a nice place to be.
Are you starting to feel a little bit of shift in the amount of light there is each day? The time between January and spring can be really hard with darkness and miserable weather. But spring is about to sproing, it's coming.
Try to make sure you're laughing as much as possible, even if it's watching stupid stuff. I hope you feel better, soon.
Putting together a quote to paint the basement at holiday home I look after. It'll need some minor plastering too as the condensation has caused a bit of damp in a couple of places
Lying in a hotel bed in Boston while we get out of town for a few days. Adam Ant is playing across the street a mere few hundred feet away ATM, in a smallish theater.

We went to the Adam Ant/English Beat show in Akron last month. It was a weird vibe.
Apparently Dave Wakeling doesn't like photos being taken during his set as the opening act, so security was shining their flashlights in peoples faces and running up and down the aisles the entire time telling people to put their phones away. Super distracting.
Adam Ant had a fun set, but his voice was a little rough and his body was clearly betraying him with his dance moves. Was kind of sad. And, while security didn't fuss over photos during the headliner set, they were patrolling the aisles keeping people from dancing or moving out of their seats. So bizarre.
There was a lot of blowback on Adam Ant about this tour... the entire front floor was VIP tickets only, so we went with front of the balcony seats. Had a view of the security's hilarious shenanigans. Would've been pretty ticked if we'd paid VIP type prices for that experience. We've seen both acts numerous times. Confident that was the last time we'll pay to see either again.

Wow, thanks for the insight! I just read a review of the NYC show on my Google feed and they weren't brave enough to say that his performance was rough. That's "unfortunate."
Just helped the neighbour next door but one move a bunch of furniture in. We managed to get a bed from the downstairs terrace up onto the upstairs balcony without dying! Go us! & it turns out he also makes palinka so he gave me a bottle of apricot palinka for helping

Enjoy your paliinka! That sounds like good medicine. I hope to be able to try it some day. I mean, not yours personally.

Here's hoping your back is doing OK?
My back's in great shape at the moment. That was probably the kiss of death
