I was clearing out a house after a relative of mine died. Mostly picked up old electronics, books and kitchen stuff. It's a pity how much usable stuff goes to the dump but I'm afraid there's not much I can do.
One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain So hit me with music, hit me with music

You should be able to give electronics back for recycling. As for the rest, can't you put it on the web somewhere for sale or even just free to collector? At least someone gets some use out of it rather than it just ending up in land fill somewhere

I'm not in charge of the estate and I offered to give some phone numbers of collectors of stuff to collect them to flea markets etc to avoid dumping them. But it's all up to what the one in charge replies, we'll see. I think some of my relatives are difficult persons.

Packing stuff from a death estate to sell at a flea market. Books, kitchen stuff, all kinds of stuff, my own stuff also, dvd's (I've moved to blu-ray's anyway). Still thinking what to do with some of my cd's: Smiths, Primal Scream (I don't listen to those anymore but don't dare to sell them so cheap that someone would buy them at flea market).

Sitting on the balcony watching a little, old Union guy w/ a long, white beard fix this flatbed. I love seeing the insides of truck engines. This guy is maybe five feet tall and moves at 100 mph. They’re digging up the cemetery for utility work and there’s tons of heavy equipment. When I walked by the fence the other day I looked down into the 6+ foot trenches to see if any coffins or carapaces were visible.
Just getting the back garden ready for this years planting. Runner beans will feature for sure. Then I transplanted a load of daffodils that the old dear who was here before appeared to have scatter bombed around the place at random. I now have a couple of nice rows. & yes, my back did not like that I did this one bit.
The sun is full-on for the first time in days, birds are chirping, etc. I'm on the balcony drafting a cover letter for a position I really, really want while..... day drinking.
Been out all day doing garden work with my neighbour. Pruned a massive tree & cut back two very large hedges. Tomorrow will be working with a wood chipper. So I'd better find my earplugs
