Yesterday’s meal consisted of ham, roasted chicken, stuffing, boulettes (basically, ‘special’ meatballs), tourtière, salads, mashed potatoes, and homemade sourdough! It was absolutely delicious, though it was too much, as this spread was for three people! Bingo made out like a bandit too, my dear mother cooked a six ounce filet mignon for him, as according to my mother, “Well, it’s Easter for him too, Danielle”. For dessert we had some sort of vanilla bean cake. It was a great evening full of delicious food, good conversation, and a very indulged cocker spaniel.

Wow! That is a lot for three folks and one hungry dog. I think I most covet the homemade sourdough.

1) wow, the weekend went by in a flash. 2) I have a cupboard full of chocolate and a fridge full of leftovers, debating if I should have some for brekkie!
I'm faulted for being a "bad daughter-in-law" for not being the social secretary for our family or not wishing my mother-in-law a happy birthday but this is insane, because my husband isn't held to the same standards. Does his mother think he ever does the same? I'm not having it.
