Word to the wise, test your sunscreen PRIOR to going on vacation and before slathering it all over your body like I did. I was diagnosed with contact dermatitis yesterday (allergic reaction), and my arms currently look like hamburger helper.
I know how that feels. Last spring it took $243,000 worth of rather unpleasant allergy testing to learn I’m allergic to sunscreen ingredients. It’s rough, I know.
I found a wallet with everything still in it (cash, weed, etc.) outside my office this morning. Someone had carefully placed it aside and camouflaged it.
Because this person seems to be “unbanked” and paid via debit cards loaded by employers there is no incentive for the companies to contact the cardholder and let him know I have his wallet. They just call and tell me to destroy the cards and that they’ll email him to let him know they been canceled. So they can contact him, but only for that…
Rich people get all the breaks.
Ugh, I just took everything out of the wallet to take a picture of it before taking it to the police and I believe (cannot tell for sure) there’s a small bag of Mexican brown (heroin!) in there. I guess I will leave that out when I turn it in…. Live and learn.

Eek! What do you use to protect yourself front the sun ?

Clothing, more and more. I’m allergic to four things found in sunscreens or pesticides (I first experienced it at the cemetery one hot sunny day, and I know they use pesticides). I can only use products listed in a 300-page PDF document the hospital gave me (have it saved to the cloud so I can access it any time).
If you can find it, you might try La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In Milk Sunscreen, which is safe for me.

OK, it wasn't that.I used Google lens. Still not quite sure what it is or how you would ingest it, but it's in the compost, now.

Your self grown vegetables using that compost will tell you next summer.
When I started working in banking in 2005 before the financial crash, times were high. For small department parties in the office (birthdays, etc.) we could order amazing stuff like giant wedges of Stilton, champagne, and beautiful cakes from the catering department. Then, the belt started tightening a couple years later and all that was gone. Then came the massive, nasty layoffs.
Mr. K works for a large tech firm whose employees are, for all intents and purposes, S-P-O-I-L-E-D! The first Christmas party we attended after he started work there they had rented out the American Museum of Natural History. He just told me the budget for their perks like backpacks with company logos has been "trimmed" (company parties have been slowly getting worse and there are no +1's anymore). Now layoffs. I would never laugh at his misfortune, but it's kind of funny to see his naiveté as all this happens.

I will order some! Thank you for the recommendation!

notkristie I hope you don't mind but at first sight when I saw this picture, I thought they got you jailed and you were planning your escape with 7 other inmates [X] spread over 4 different cell blocks, as marked on your back tattoo. I couldn't figure out the location of the cell complex though, given its unusual architecture. Glad to read that sunscreen was the only culprit in the story. Take care.

Thanks for the chuckle! I couldn't shower for four days - it sucked!!!
Sorry, I have to go sharpen my shank, now...

I'm fed up with listening to all those complaints about the lack of the new album. I'm also annoyed with all the people except Robert writing in caps on Twitter. It's silly.
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.
