As expected, tickets were gone in 1 hour, we are 3 people and none of us could get them, sold out within minutes.
What i find very dissapointing is that, all that bitching about resellers, ticketmaster and "trying to reach true fans by selling cheap tickets" from Robert was just that, an old man yelling at clouds, Corona Capilat is pretty much run by ticket master, and also the bank that has the presale access is the Shirttiest one with their tiers of accessing the presale.
Just to give you guys an overview of how absolutely Shirtty this presale is:
Presale tickets are first ONLY available for people with a credit card and certain ammount of money and / or credit on it, which means, its literally what resellers are, they max their credit cards buying tickets, its literally designed to give first hand access to people with more money, complete oposite of what robert said about bringing a Tour for the fans, whereas in the past everyone could get access to the presale as long as you had a credit or debit card from that bank, now it is broken in tiers, thank you Robert, a man of words, quite literally.
An absolute shiatfest, the only thing that could make me not to be dissapointed in him and not believeing anything he says ever again would be if theres a separate gig the night before.

Bit of a stretch blaming this on Robert when ticket bastard holds all the cards in this instance. I have no knowledge of laws on scalping & so on in Mexico but if they lean towards allowing resellers to hoover up tickets to make a profit, then that's totally out of his hands & his only recourse would be to simply cancel the appearance. That would go down like a lead balloon. Add to that the fact that given there are umpteen other acts on the same day, it would follow that the tickets are for the actual festival & not, in fact, for The Cure. In NA the tickets were specifically for The Cure & so he actually held some sway on pricing & what he actually achieved was nothing short of miraculous. All that aside, he has said absolutely nothing about ticket pricing on any LatAm shows as of yet. So if you want to blame someone, blame ticket bastard.

come on. it is not sold out... yes the presales sucks... but they do not liberat 100% of the tickets in the pre sales.. not even in the normal presale... and there are a max ammount of tickets per person... depending the event 4-8 tickets... yes TM sucks... OCESA sucks and presales sucks but this presales are in all the events if there is a solo night would be a pre sale too... be sides are 3 days.. with 3 stages... with 3 mayor headliners per day... and the venue is huge... we all gona get tickets.. there are fans for the others band too...
charcoalface, I agree with you re: the necessity of having a credit card to purchase during presales. IMO, this is hugely unfair & discriminatory. It’s a huge problem in any circumstance but seems especially ludicrous when you consider how art touches and benefits people’s lives.
