Blossom Music Centre, Cuyahoga Falls (Cleveland), OH
This is a really interesting looking place
It's NOTORIOUSLY bad getting to and from/in and out of shows because it sits on the edge of a (hugely underrated) National Park, but the setting is simply stunning. I currently live 15 minutes from the venue, but have been going to shows here since the mid-'80s (except for the decade I lived out of state). I've seen everyone from Roy Orbison to New Order/PiL/Sugarcubes to Bauhaus to Tom Petty to Radiohead to Florence + the Machine to Def Leppard to Weezer/Pixies to Ozzy to The Black Keys to NIN/Ministry/Nitzer Ebb, and on and on over the decades. It’s a beautiful venue in an amazing setting. The Cure played the Curiosa Festival here in 2004.

For reference, inside the red circle is the amphitheater, the yellow box is paid parking, the orange box is free parking in grassy fields. Basically, one way in and out. You can see why it's a bit of a sh!tshow... but, man, what a gorgeous place to see a show on a summer night! Blossom is the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra, as well.

This is going to be my first time going to that venue/town. Usually I go to downtown Cleveland and at first I wasn't going to go. But, I decided The Cure (well, mostly Simon!) is worth the adventure! The only complaint I have is the parking tickets went on sale AFTER I got my ticket so missed out on that. Oh well, a little walk never hurt anybody.

For those who have been there before, any advice about parking? I notice they want folks to arrive at 2:00, but I dunno if I should arrive at 1:30 or 1:00 and just wait.

Thanks for any advice!
We’re planning to head to Blossom around 4 when parking opens. (It’s around $20 to park earlier than that.) It’s gonna be a mess getting in the longer you wait, and a complete sh!tshow leaving. One way in and one way out. If you didn’t snag a parking pass, you’re going to be parking in the grass lots. Wear comfortable shoes and know that it’s going to pour tonight. Somebody offered up Prayers for Rain, and seems they’re going to be answered.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm already here. Wasn't expecting the $20 fee, but oh well.
