Yep, there's no "pushing to the front" at large shows here (at least I'm not rich enough to have ever found out). I would say it's generally any indoor venue over a couple of thousand capacity that is entirely seated down front.
The only Cure show I had been to in the US that was not seated was at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas in 2000. A bunch of people were already queueing up when I got there at 6 a.m.

It is really surprising… and terrible.
That's why it's always a good idea to wear the tallest boots you have and gain 3 inches, or so. Not only can you see over more people's heads but people tend to get out of the way. I'm not sure I would be able to push at an arena show at this age, though...
