I don't know why we didn't set something like this up before. There are many musical folks here and it would be lovely to hear what you can do. But. Although we hope you make a success of your music, this isn't an outlet for you to just sell your wares. Just let us know what you're up to musically & share your tunes, videos & whatever. Please feel free to start your own threads so we can hear you or to collaborate with others. If you use it solely as a market place we'll just delete the posts.
Let me start in the category "Just let us know what you're up to musically":
Apart from (song)writing, I love discovering and taming instruments, preferably string instruments. It is very hard not to buy one when I see one, so I must avoid music stores, markets or garage sales at all cost. In chronological order:
Acoustic guitar: as long as I can remember, I started damaging strings around the age of 7 Keyboards & Grand Piano: about 20 years now; pop/rock/classical; composing and arranging Accordeon: occasionaly I play my (piano) accordeon (keys and buttons); I love the instrument but I love my spine more Violin: more than 10 years, but not as frequent as the above 2 instruments; however I love to play along with whatever comes my way Electric guitar: almost 10 years; I'm in love with my black Ibanez Drums: electronic drum kit, but only for a short while; switched to programming drum patterns in CakeWalk (BandLab) when needed Saxophone: only a couple of years; I sold the instrument because the neighbours attacked me every single time I played tunes for them, and I hated only being able to stare at the instrument Ukelele: small enough to take with me on holidays; good for improvisations and in emergency situations can be used as firewood Cello: taming this beauty since beginning of 2020, but time is scarce... Harmonica (mouth organ): only when I'm bored
I always have followed the following path: Fall in love. Buy. Explore. Play. Repeat. Always as an auto-didact. I hate being told what (not) to do. Music (or creativity as a whole) should never have boundaries (that's what they should learn kids). Actually that's how I coach people.
Currently no other (types of) instrument on my radar, although it's tempting when witnessing day after day how one can start a fire with a single flute.

Impressive! So you can do a cover of Cold on your own, cello intro included ;-)
I wish I had such musical dexterity: I can only play a bit of guitar...

Well I must admit that I've never been into playing covers. I prefer creating my own stuff. I do play along with existing songs to add alternative layers or solos. But that would ruin Cold instantly. I wouldn't dare to touch that one ;-)
I'm a former cello and bass player. Started with cello at age 7 until age 13. Was first chair in the city youth orchestra until I was 11. Then I chose to focus on dance over music but stayed in orchestra. I switched to bass at age 13 when the orchestra didn't have enough bass players. I played bass half-arsed until age 14 or 15 when I didn't GAF anymore and never practiced.
Bought a Hondo jazz bass and an amp in college and would play along to albums by ear. Never learned the proper way to play, though.
I bought a cello after moving to the city in 2003. Never took lessons like I planned. Sold it a few years ago. There just isn't enough time to do all the things I wish I could! I miss playing music.
I used to (embarrass myself) sing and play guitar in a very amateurish band in my late teens/early twenties. I loved the creative part (writing songs), less so the performative part (the embarrassing myself in front of an audience part).
