From what I see, which is a whole load of tweets from frustrated people all with mixed messages & information, there is some confusion over the issuing of tickets for the UK shows. Is this really the case? I have seen a few people suggesting the AXS app which apparently solves their "problem" as the ticket(s) populates the app independently of being posted or emailed. Does anyone have a clear picture of exactly what the issues are? Or is it just people getting jittery even though they all know tickets won't typically be issued until much closer to the show date? If there really is an issue, then I'll happily make a noise on social media (whatever good that might do).
I've also read that the venue apps should be populated with your tickets too. This seems to be a bit off for people who don't use apps.
I'm a young person and even I don't want the hassle of using my phone and an app as my ticket... I'd much rather just hand/show something physical to someone.
So many things can go wrong with a digital product.
It's even more confusing that the tickets may be on the venue app, AXS app, or both...

Can you download and print it?
From AXS FAQ:
'Unlike e-tickets, AXS Mobile ID tickets are digital and cannot be printed for venue entry.'
Eventim have an app but I've received an email saying Birmingham will be physical and is in the post. AXS and TM all seem to be app. May also be venue dependent, my Cardiff is electronic but there seem to be a lot of paper ones on the secondary market..

You only need it in the vendor one really - they like you to preload in their own in case there are network issues on the night. Same QR code etc but more logins and data footprint for the punters...

I don’t have smartphone. Are they giving the chance of buying e-tickets or you just can purchase Moblie ID ones?
I can't answer that for you, I bought the tickets months ago and can't remember the options. I would have chose paper/print if it was an option, though.

I think if you log in on a non-phone browser (laptop or something) then you can get the option of a pdf. Otherwise you'd have to use their 'customer service' to change the format.
I think, whatever you do, avoid the postal option if you can. The posties have a series of strikes planned between now & xmas, so there could be quite a delay on physical tickets arriving.
