I really want to reexperience the entoxicating feeling of standing in the front row, but I also want to buy merch.
Also I might have a jacket and maybe a bike helmet to take care of.

I will bring a tote bag and a compressible jacket, so I won’t get cold in the queue while waiting for doors to open, and then fold the jacket into a little something, and keep it in the totebag.

Do you have a superior tactic for indoor shows?

Get cold in the queue waiting for the doors to open. Hopefully guess the right directions once inside a new venue. End up wherever.

Carry a beaker of water & stuff the helmet underneath your t-shirt shouting "heavily pregnant" as you barge your way through. Just before you reach the front of the stage spill the contents of the beaker and scream "my waters have broken"!
It works every time for me in the queue at Tesco & I'm a male 🙃

Will the Seagulls be with you? there was no mention of them... If you were to take them they can help you move everyone out the way as you set them free to attack all those in front of you..

Best to have someone with you as you send the other person to the front to hold a spot for you.

In Madrid 2019 a person took an inflatable unicorn..

He blew it up and place it on the front next to the rail. Left bought some merch and return with two beers in hand. Deflated the unicorn and enjoyed the show.

Drink lots of vodka and just push everybody out of the way until you find your preferred standing place ... .. .
