I was able to get free cancellation on all the hotels I booked ! Honestly though, unless there’s a huge issue (e.g covid) , I’ll be going since my airfare is non refundable (used my airline credits). Hoping everything works out, show or no show, I’d like to get outta here for a bit.

My fav is Bavaria up to Hamburg in the winter snow, spectacular

If driving is your bag then Southern France is much prettier by road.
