Band t shirt etiquette?

I will never lose my fascination with other people wearing band shirts, even if they are a hangover from another era. I guess us shirt wearers are pinning our colours to the band and the olden days

When the Cure played Reading last, I wore a (very!) dated Reading shirt and was repeatedly told that the shirt was older than most of the crowd

I'm not watching Tim Lovejoy say anything and you can't make me!
Just looking at that vacuous smile makes my teeth clench..

I’m sure they don’t mind it when they see a beautiful woman sporting  one of their shirts.

But to answer your question, I personally think it’s odd to wear a band shirt unless you’re a huge fan of the band. I mean I certainly wouldn’t do it. 

oh and steve in your list of items, you forgot bed sheets! Truth be told, a lonnngggg time ago I had New Kids on the Block sheets. Yep that’s right, I slept on Donnie Wahlberg’s face time every night for like six or so months. Oh and I was an Uber fan too, and so by my logic, I guess it’s okay that I owned those sheets ! By admitting all this, have I lost all credibility with you guys ?
