Notkristie’s recent post in the ‘what are you currently listening to” thread gave me the idea for this thread. So... What was the first concert/gig/show you attended? (Wondering if this thread has been covered before?)

mine was Pink Floyd with my father in ‘91. It was outdoors on the hottest day of the year, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience.

Frankly it was ace! Unfortunately they didn't play lovesong! Shame! but a long version of all cats are grey! Great Prayer Tour light show, great crowd too, rather small venue, everything was top! First gig, a teenager, it was already my fave band, I was close to the front row, what an experience, what a giant emotion! That was really top! Loved SO energy, then the chimes of plainsong, and the blue lightshow comes down litterary on me as the song start for real, wow!!!cFave concert i've been to by far! I have lived other 'extra-ordinary' shows, but none as emotionnal as this. Just loved it.

How come you know Grenoble Danielle?

Wow thank you for providing that excellent description and setting the scene, what a great first concert/show/gig!

I've actually visited Grenoble, and I've travelled through France quite extensively.

Went with a couple of friends (twins) whose dad took us. The Belle Stars were the support & the Fun Boy 3 were sat about 3 rows behind us.
