In november 79, Matthieu brings his MiniKorg 700S, a monophonic synthetizer (In his book Lol says it's duophonic but it's a mistake).
Late 79/early 80, the band buys a Roland RS-09 String Machine.
In september 80, Matthieu leaves with is 700S and the band buys a MaxiKorg 800DV (which is INDEED duophonic), which is somewhat a double 700S, to replace it.
Without a KB player, the synth parts are for most excluded from the concerts and only the 800DV is used for the "A Forest" Intro. At some shows you will see a borowed 700S, as the 800DV was somewhat "lost in traffic".
An ARP Solina String, a string machine, is bought in late 80/early 81. Always will be Robert favourite KB and he will always find a way to place it one every album the band made.
Those threes intruments, 800DV, RS-09 & Solina, will be used for "Faith", "Charlotte Sometimes" & "P*rn*graphy", in studio as in concerts.
The news things for "Faith"' is an EKO bass pedal for Simon, only used for live performances.
For P*rn*graphy, a Boss DR-55 drum machines is used, mostly for "One Hunderd Year".
On the "Studio Davout" live miniset from 82, you can see all those instruments, except the DR-55 which is, of course, on tape.

In décembre 82, they rent an « Oberheim system » (DSX/DMX/OB-Xa) for the « The Walk » EP.
It will never be used again.
I stopped my researches here.

« Let’s Go To bed » doesn't see any change in the gears .
It will never be used again.
Lol buys a Boss DR-110 drum machine and a Roland Juno-60 soon thereafer.
In 84, Porl & Lol played on stage respectivly with a Roland JX-3P & the Juno-60, Most bet they where used for "The Top" with the others synths the band already owns.
The presence of a Yamaha DX-7 is not certain, some say it was already aquired for "The Top", some say "not yet!" In 85, Lol has brought an E-Mu Emulator 2 sampler. It's certain the DX-7 is there as the "Koto" preset is unmissable on "The Kyoto song". For the tour, the DX-7 replaces the Juno 60.
The band acquired an Ensoniq Mirage sampler and a JX-8P polysynth, but we don't know if it was before or after the recording of « The Head on the Door » as they were not used for the "Head tour".
In 86, as they toured to promote the "Standing on the beach" compilation, Porl played with the two JX and Lol with the DX-7 and the Mirage.
