Hi everyone,
I don't really do social media or forums because a) I usually end up upsetting someone & b) I've never wanted to join a club that would have me as a member 😁.
However, I've joined this forum (thanks for letting me in) because I don't know any other genuine Cure fans.
I remember seeing the video for Charlotte Sometimes shortly after its release. The video was awful but the song was like nothing I had heard before. This was at a time when there was very limited tv & radio choice in the UK, certainly no satellite TV or cable. I then re-discovered the Cure with The Walk and followed them ever since.
They are the one constant in my life since I was about 12 years old. They have been a part of my live through school, university, work, birth, death, marriage & divorce (oops).
My one regret....my hair was never thick enough to have a good backcombe...I always ended up looking like a dandelion 😁
