Since the outbreak I’ve spent a bit of time here and there writing about my life and in particular, my childhood. So I thought it would/ could be fun to share stories of the shenanigans we used to pull off as children.
Okay, to begin, I grew up in a very rural setting, think chickens and wheat fields. As this was pre-interweb times, there really wasn’t much for us to do, so we’d find creative ways to keep ourselves entertained. For example, there was a quarry nearby, so we’d uh ‘borrow’ our neighbour’s quad and drive out there to swim. We would often do this on hot summer nights with really only the moonlight as our guide. 😳 We dove off the highest cliffs possible, always in an attempt to one up each other. It was certainly fun at the time and luckily, none of ever got hurt!
As we got a little older, more and more kids would come and it would turn into a party scene. Those were the days! 😊
