a varied selection to be sure. here's who i would choose:
Nine Inch Nails (the only 1 i'm really adamant about. i think Trent's speech inducting the Cure last year will help his cause. it was 1 of the better inductions of the one's i've seen & Robert seemed touched by it) Depeche Mode (i don't like them at all but there is no denying their influence) Todd Rundgren (both as an artist & producer. look up the records he has produced. it's pretty astonishing) Kraftwerk (those wacky German guys! hugely influential) Judas Priest (they've been around for about 50 years & are still putting out pretty decent new stuff for that sort of thing. definite metal overlords)
thought about these & would have no issue with them: MC5 Soundgarden T Rex Thin Lizzy Motorhead Pat Benatar
please don't list!: Whitney Houston Notorious BIG Dave Matthews Band (formerly known as the anti-Christ Dave. then i saw him open for someone. decided he was too boring to be the anti-Christ)
these are all strictly my opinion & in no way reflect the site management!
It simply blows me away that NIN has been around for 30 years. I'm sure steve will insert snarky comment here... haha Jaysus I'm old. But other than them, Kraftwerk, Thin Lizzy and Pat not sure. Sorry but I have never been a Motorhead fan. I will go to my corner now.
