Does anyone else dream about a line of sneaker or boots with The Cure on them?
Nope never. I saw the Unknown Pleasures efforts a while back & though they looked absurd. IIRC The Cure tried it at the Reflections shows & the quality was so bad they had to recall them all. & on top of that they were absolutely hideous

They look like the sort of cr@p Hot Topic sells
I forgot about them! Think i actually blanked them out 😂
As Mr. K and our cramped closet can attest to, I have much love for boots and shoes...
If you'd like to show your love for TC on your feet, why not DIY it punk style with some paint, black faux fur for RS' hair (maybe not that part), etc? Not crafty? Pay someone with artistic abilities for a commission! It would be much better than anything you could get in the store.

The Reflections shoes are "printed" canvas sneakers. I've got a pair from the hip hop collective Hieroglyphics, and they were really cool - but not super sturdy... I also custom ordered a pair of Keds when they were doing on-demand shoes, and they came back beautifully.
I would love a nice pair of Cure Docs, if they did a good design. The recent New Order ones were actually quite elegant, and the black-on-black "embossed" Joy Division ones were amazing.
Absolutely not the kind of footwear i usually wear but i wanted order one pair at the Reflections show had they not been recalled. I would have worn them to play drums (i remember Boris used to wear Converse, sort of kind of the same...)

@ weedyburton79, you kept all your DM even though they're all torn apart, or are they still wearable?
I still have, I think, every pair of Docs I've purchased (regardless of their current condition) with the exception of a pair of green 1461s that disappeared a good 20+ years ago.
Do you have a pic? I regret so much to have thrown away so many stuff, toys from my childhood, clothes, and also my first 4-5 pairs of floral DrM 1460 ! (And my Hi-Tec sneakers) I've now on the contrary turned into a compulsive collector of virtually everything I get ! I don't throw anything away anymore !
