I watched Hitchcock last night. I thought it was great! I anticipated it would be because there are two elements in it of which I thoroughly enjoy; I'm a huge Alfred Hitchcock fan and my favorite actor of all time is Sir Anthony Hopkins, who was brilliant as usual. I highly recommend it! Helen Mirren was awesome as well!
How Anthony got into character; how he transformed himself into Hitchcock, and Helen Mirren on Alma Reville, the lady behind Alfred, his lovely wife.

I've got lots of movies I can recommend, but I'll just do my all time favorite: A classic from Buster Keaton--The General. Made back in 1926(7), it stars Buster as Johnie Gray, an engineer on the train The General. During the Civil War, The General is stolen by Union forces and our hero must go into enemy territory to get her back. Not knowing that his lady friend was also captured.
Fun fact....this movie is baised on a real train theft. There apparently really WAS a General engine that was stolen by Union forces during the Civil War.
Kinko DVD Release Trailer:
If anyone gets interested, the full movie is on Youtube.
We saw The Man of Steel tonight...pbbt there is my review...Maybe we should have a separate thread for movie reviews..lol. It was all over the place Interesting effects but something happens at the end that is just silly to me and it kind of blows the whole movie. And where were the 3D effects exactly?
