Speaking of 39.. I must say that somehow this song has never been one of my super favourites, despite it being so big (rich music etc).. But when I hear it live, it's so impressive. They play it so well and the way Robert sings it, all of that really transfers the feeling to the audience, well at least to me.
Also makes me think everytime : "Almost doesn't count, Robert." :-D Probably you have such saying in English too? In Latvia we often use it.

Don't you think something went wrong in Madrid? It sounded really bad, at least from where I was. The same with Disintegration.

gongoro73, yes sounds differ depending on where you stand so we might as well have different experiences. For 39, didn't notice that much but for Disintegration, yes, but that didn't stop me from crying. It was the most emotional part for me of the show. In some ways that "chaoss" that happened even fits the song. I have heard Disintegration live 3 times and everytime someone tells me that it sounded strange and not good, but it gets me anyway...
