what are you hoping for/expecting? will they be sick of the ‘disintegration’ stuff? will there be any new stuff? with it being more of a ‘cure gig’ than a major festival,i’m hoping for a change to the ‘greatest hits’ setlist.the vast majority of people will be there for the cure,so perhaps something darker, and some lesser played songs?
They play the whole of the new album with a few rare classic album tracks from the back catalogue like icing sugar/truth goodness and beauty/one more time/a short term effect/real Snow White/1000 hours/underneath the stars
Expecting?
Chimes Plainsong Pictures of you

No, as the setlists have been based around disintegration songs for at least the last 10 + years. They will be playing this album till they retire. I'm guessing that the reflections shows are the only time since 1987 that they haven't played any disintegration songs.
will there be any new stuff?
No, they've said the new album isn't festival friendly. I imagine It can never be the same/step into the light will be discarded like they do with any new material. Anyone remember "a boy I never knew"?!!!!

I think, as this isn't a festival event as such, a bit less of a hit driven setlist & perhaps some seldom played songs in the mix. Pretty sure it will feature some crowd faves though.

If they play the same set than Hyde Park, it'll be my last Cure concert in a summer festival...i don't want rarities cos they probably won't play it, i just want a solid setlist with tracks (not 5 or 6 only) for everyone (including die hard fans) and not only for festival goers. I don't care if the sun shines strongly or not ;-)
Rennes 1996/ Nîmes 1998/ Paris 2000 x2/ Carhaix 2002/ London 2002/ Brussels 2002/ Hamburg 2002/ Berlin 2002/ Aix les bains 2004/ Six fours 2004/ Werchter 2004/ St Malo 2005/Paris 2008/ Paris 2016/ Hyde Park 2018/ Malahide Castle 2019/ Saint-Cloud 2019/ Lyon 2022/ Montpellier 2022/ Toulouse 2022/ Bordeaux 2022/ Nantes 2022/ Strasbourg 2022/ Lievin 2022/ Paris 2022/ London 2022 x3…
I think the Plain Song/Disintegration bookend will be a given, probably for all shows this summer. As this is practically a Cure show rather than a festival, I'm hoping that they bring out a few of the less common tracks and maybe even a new song. But my guess is that it will be mostly like the Hyde Park/South African shows.

I would like for Bob and the boys to keep the same Disintegration theme going but not sure he will. He has been a bit unpredictable these last few years and he may not even play the songs we just witnessed. Save those for USA!!
Can you imagine if they played Foxy lady and Forever just like he did in Point theater Dublin back in 1992. First I would die, second I would be like "Lucky bastards!", third I would love for someone to have recorded it and share it here.
Whatever the case may be- I expect no less than a perfect set!

I'll give it a go but I just find Disintegration very sluggish live nowadays, the entreat fast tempo version is still my favourite.
One of the best songs on the album and I like how the lead guitar has been inspired by Kate Bush's Running up that hill, from one of Robert's favourite albums of 85. And then in turn, Disintegration inspires KOD's drive that fast. Three wonderful songs.
