I don't quite know how I missed it first time round but it's iplayer appearance is well timed.
Also, it's a Dan Simmons book which I probably would have read if Ilium and Olympos weren't so disappointing after the amazing Hyperion (which deserves to be a film!).
probably would've better if they spent some of the effects budget on a script. spies & time travel= cohesion trouble. some of this would've spectacular on IMAX but glad didn't have the chance to spend the money on it.

So badly executed it genuinely made me angry! The first really serious blot on Nolan's CV.
I like such surprises. Gripping, intelligent, thoughtful with extra modern convention which doesn't disturb at all. The ending could be improved but still it is a good movie.
