What is your fave show, and why? I don't care if it's an official release, or a bootleg, but I want to know what you love, and why you love it. Your "only show on a desert island" show.
And yes, it can only be ONE!
Mine is 3rd May 1992 - National Ballroom, London.
Why? A here's some reasons:
1) It was the first bootleg I ever bought.. $120.00 in 1993! Youch! I played that to thing to death.
2) It has so many great songs on it, including songs I'd never heard live renditions of such as M, Wendy Time
3) It has such an amazing sound, so clear, so loud and so well mixed
4) It has probably the best version of A Forest on it
5) It has the only version of Lullaby that I've ever heard Robert sing "and every time I believe it, every time I believe it" at the end.
6) The version of Open is just mind-blowingly good
7) The combo of "From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea" > "Fascination Street" > "Never Enough" > "Cut" > "End" is such a winning combination. Zing!
