my mate has found gigging a bit later in life and wants to go to nearly every gig he sees (he has no kids)
so now he has me going to see
the wildhearts icon of coil the cruxshadows
yesterday he informed me that the damned are playing locally and he wants to see them , has he not heard of baby sitters and how many years in advance i have to book them .
This will require the consumption of Horrible Cunema Nachos...
The chillies always make me hiccup, so if you're ever in a cinema and hear, "*crunch hic* ... *crunch hic* ... *crunch hic* ..." for the first twenty minutes, you know who's sitting right behind you...
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
I still remember seeing them in their heyday and last night was less ... sharp.
That said, they played things like 'Black Celebration' and 'Question of Time' which I haven't heard in a LONG time and may very well have squeed a lot.
The newer, slower songs slammed the brakes on and wrecked the momentum of the set. Totally. If they had skipped those, they would have been on fire!!
That said, I was dancing about for pretty much the entire thing, so that alone tells me that it was worth the £££s!!!

Thank you so much! Just another nine days of waiting for me.
