It will be a budget priced festival recording of the greatest hits, with a special 128 kbps mp3 download of new remixes. Each of the 20 remixed songs in the download will also be available as 20 individually packaged 1-track CD singles.
Hm! Interesting prediction...
An impression of sound Then everything is gone Forever
I wonder what’s been going on for the ten years that’s halted the process? I mean, they lost a member, gained two, played numerous tours, no doubt made a tonne of money, something major must have been a blocker.
Bob's already covered this in interviews since 4:13 hasn't he? He's said it didn't feel right to release the 4:14 "companion" after Porl's departure & in any case it's not the album he intended it to be. Add to that his apparent inability to write lyrics (until he was inspired by & so he was left with 3 albums + worth of instrumentals. Prett sure that the addition of Roger & Reeves has also given him some push in the right direction too.

yeah i recall bits and bobs of that, but ten years... surely there's been other stuff and things, or not i guess. I'm sure though, we'll never know the truth. Oh well.. as long as the record(s) come.
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!
You have to be inspired to write music/lyrics. If you're not inspired artistically to create, you are not going to do it. It really is as simple as that. No matter how much we moan about it.

Both whatever has been a stumble on the new album, but also - the reissue of Wish - that one should be dead easy (Lost Wishes will fill 1/4 of the bonus disc already)... I've been waiting for that more than almost any other. It's not my favorite album, but I adore the Lost Wish instrumentals more than most of the other instrumental sketches, so I really hope that one ALSO happens.
Is odd not having a Cure release for Record Store Day - they've done something most years recently... so it feels curious there's nothing for 2019 (speaking of a year on from Torn Up).
My crystal ball says if we don't get the debut of some new material at the South African shows then the album won't be out until Autumn/Christmas time.
